Geocache Description:

15 June 2021, 18:00 - 18:30

This event takes place at New Britain Stadium, home of the New Britain Bees. The cache event is in the parking area to the right of the stadium, from 6:00 to 6:30. Look for the cmk.leed-mobile (white Rav 4) to sign the log and swap trackables. At 6:30, we welcome all to join us and cheer on the Bees as they take on the Pittsfield Suns. Tickets are $8 for all ages, and can be purchased online in advance. http://nb1.glitnirticketing.com/nbticket/web/ev_list.php. All tickets are general admission, so there is no assigned seating. Weeknight games are typically a light crowd, so we should easily find a section where we can all sit together. It will be Dollar Dog Night, so come hungry and enjoy a Rosol's hot dog for $1. New Britain Stadium is wheelchair and stroller friendly.

You are not required to purchase a ticket to attend the geocaching event. Game attendance is optional. There is no fee for parking.

There is no rain date for this event. If the game is rained out, the event will end at 6:30. In the event of a rainout, your tickets can be used for any home game of the 2021 season.

As per State of CT DPH and CDC guidelines, all guests who have received the Covid 19 vaccine are not required to wear a mask. Please follow the most current Covid 19 protocols https://portal.ct.gov/coronavirus.

The Central Connecticut Cacher’s Night Out is normally an evening gathering on the second Tuesday of every month (pre Covid). We love to meet those that are new or interested in this great hobby! Let us know if this is your first event as we'd like to get acquainted. This event features new or rotating hosts every month, and changing locations. If you have an interest in hosting, please contact Katydid and Miles Stone (KD&MS). As host, you’ll arrange a location; get the coordinates; and copy and paste the event page and resubmit. Locations should be kid friendly, have no admission fee, and be within the Central Connecticut/Greater Hartford area. Cachers from outside of the area are also encouraged to host, but we do ask that the event itself be held in the central CT area.
