While visiting the beach, why not include a walk through the dunes where you might see deer, coyotes, hawks or eagles? You will (hopefully) find this ammo can after a short bushwack off the main trail. Regrettably, your chances are also good of being discovered by mosquitoes unless it's a windy day.
