This Cache is placed as part of the 2021 Taconic Region Geocaching Challenge. Please see FA1 for details about the challenge. This is a bonus cache. There is no stamp in this container. It is hidden for your enjoyment.
This cache is a Wherigo that will lead you on a hike to one of the hill/mountaintops in this section of Fahnestock. You will need to answer questions at some of the stages. When you reach the final zone you will receive the coordinates of the cache, which is an ammo can hidden in "classic" style. The hike will take you past many of the other caches placed for the Summer Geocaching Challenge and can be turned into a figure-8 "loop" hike of about 5.5 miles that takes you to all caches, except CF5 Fallside which requires a short diversion.

Park at Hubbard Lodge parking area off Route 9. The parking is along both sides of the road leading to Hubbard Lodge. Please obey the no parking signs and do not block the private driveways. We encountered significant GPS bounce when placing these caches so if you find the coordinates to be significantly in error, please include updated coordinates in your log.
