Chiques Day Use Park holds many geocaching memories for me with tough hides, snowy walks, and disappearing containers. I thought about putting a fishing container here but then wondered, "Could there be Dolphins here?" We are in Lancaster County, so there are not dolphins in the nearby Chiques Creek or even the Susquehanna River. But there are dolphins in the Chesapeake Bay almost as far north as Blatimore.

I could have named this cache Roosting Dolphin. It is a dolphin attached to a plastic test tube perched in a 6-foot tall stump on the side of the trail away from the creek. There was some poison ivy I could step around but no stinging nettles on the approach. The cache should be safe from flooding. All but the last 20 feet shoud be stroller friendly as long as it isn't muddy.
