Suradę visus 8 "Plungės lobiai" lobiukus, užsirašę slaptavietėse parašytus kodus ir pateikę juos Plungės r. sav. v. bibliotekoje (Parko g. 7), Vaikų bibliotekoje (Laisvės al. 19) arba turizmo informacijos centre (Dariaus ir Girėno g. 27), galite pasiimti dovanėlę – CITO geokeliauninką (trackable) ir kryždirbystės turui skirtą medinę geomonetą.
[EN] "Plungė's Treasures" is a gecaching tour in Plungė, combining 8 places of the city's cultural heritage and historical memories. The two geolocation sites have their own multiturs, which are dedicated to the UNESCO heritage - cross-stitching.
Once you have found all 8 geocaches "Plungės lobiai", as well as, have taken and written down the codes which have been found in the hiding places, you are ready to presented them in several places in order to receive the price which is a trackable CITO tag and a wooden geocoin dedicated for the cross-stitch tour. Those places are: Plunge Public Library (Parko str. 7), Children's Library (Laisvės al. 19) or Tourism Information Center (Dariaus ir Girėno str. 27).
[LT] Sinagogos
Plungės žydai turėjo savo bendruomenę, kalbą, papročius, tikėjimą. Ši bendruomenė sudarė apie pusę visų gyventojų.
Mūsų mieste buvo net šeši žydų maldos pastatai. 1814 m. pastatyta Didžioji sinagoga, 1864 m. už Jankelio Gelerio pinigus šalia Didžiosios pastatyta dar viena – Mažoji. Abi jos buvo mūrinės, veikė iki 1940 m. Kiti keturi mediniai maldos namai (vadinami klauzais) stovėjo atskirose vietose. Didžioji sinagoga, Mažoji ir keturi mediniai klauzai buvo Plungės žydų religinio gyvenimo centras.
Mažoji sinagoga po gaisro 1931 m. rekonstruota. Žydai į Didžiąją sinagogą kaip į šventovę paskutinį kartą buvo įžengę 1941 m., bet lygiai po šešiasdešimties metų – 2001 m. liepos mėnesį – plungiškių Levitų šeimos palikuoniai, tarp kurių buvo ir būsimas Nobelio premijos laureatas Maiklas Levitas, vėl meldėsi jau avarinės būklės pastate.
Po karo sinagogoje skirtingais laikotarpiais buvo įsikūrusi kepykla, linų sandėlis, kultūros namai, sporto salė. Užtrukus pastatų grąžinimo procedūrai atsikūrusiai Plungės žydų bendruomenei, jie labai aptriušo – suremontuoti reikėjo didžiulių lėšų, todėl bendruomenė juos pardavė „Plungės kooperatinei prekybai“, kuriai vėliau leista pastatus nugriauti.

[EN] Synagogues
In Plungė, Jews had their own community, language, customs, and religion. Jews had six houses of worship in Plungė. In 1814, the Great Synagogue was built and in 1864 the Small Synagogue was built from bricks and functioned until 1940. The other four wooden synagogues (known as klausas) stood in different locations. The Great Synagogue, the Small Synagogue and the four wooden klauzas formed the centre of the religious life of the Jewish community of Plungė. After the fire in 1931, the Small Synagogue was reconstructed. The Jews entered this synagogue as the sanctuary for the last time in 1941, but exactly sixty years later, in July 2001, the descendants of Levitt family from Plungė, including the future Nobel prize winner Michael Levitt, once again prayed in the building of emergency condition.
After the war, the synagogues served as bakeries, flax warehouses, the culture house of the factory Linų audiniai, the sports hall. Because of the protracted process of returning the synagogues to the Jewish community of Plungė, the buildings were devastated and a huge amount of money was needed to restore them. Therefore, the Jewish community sold it to the company „Plungės kooperatyvinė prekyba“ , which later obtained the permission to demolish the buildings
