Howdy!
As the name gives away, I will be visiting the area from Texas and wanted to host a quick outdoor, socially distanced meet and greet during my stay! I used to live in Vacaville and cached as CACory several years back, so it will be great to see familiar faces and meet new ones.
For this event, we will meet at Central Park next to the famous Davis Farmer's Market. Grab breakfast at one of the many great spots nearby or at the adjacent farmer's market and come find me at the picnic tables near the posted coordinates. Event will begin at 8:30am and end around 9:30am, but I may hang around slightly after chatting with folks. As long as your name is on the log I will consider you attended. Drawing for FTF bragging rights will be at around 9:10am for those that are in the log book by then. Parking can be found on some of the side streets, or on the other side of the park on C Street (though it tends to fill up quickly for the Saturday farmers market).
Yolo County is in the orange tier allowing small groups to gather but please wear masks and social distance. If you feel sick, please stay home. Central Park is large so there will be plenty of room for us to spread out and distance.
