Noisy items in a pleasantly noisy location.
A week earlier, we tried to visit "Noisy" by Tick&Nammie, only to discover that a wild animal of some kind had trashed it. We picked up the few remaining usable "noisy" items, and then sjs manufactured some new noisy items in our workshop (with child-safe finishes). The result is "Noisy 2", a kid-friendly repository for all things audible, located somewhere in the west-end Greenbelt. Please feel free to swap any audible item for any other audible item!Suggested access point is the parking lot off of Moodie Drive at 45°17.590'N 75°48.953'W. A loop from here is 3-4km in length. This can take longer than you'd think if you remember to bring black sunflower seeds for the chickadees that'll mob you on the way.The coordinates given should be reasonably close, averaged over a 6+ minute period with six GPS satellites and two WAAS birds. We returned under heavy rain a day later, and the readings were slightly off, but good enough. GPSr's with "patch" antennas may have difficulties regardless. Good very WELL ESTABLISHED trails will get you within 75m, and a smaller side trail will take you to a (usually) noisy location about 30m from the cache. Please look for the established trails before blindly bushwhacking anywhere.Winter accessible, excellent for mountain bikes, very muddy in springtime, haven't ventured in at night yet.
