Welcome to the area known locally as Pickerel Point. We've spent a lot of time in this area and will continue too in the years to come. This series was placed by kayak while paddling from our cottage which is close to #2. look for the floating dock and say hi if your passing by. The origional 20 caches were placed in 2020 during the first lockdown. This spring I had nothing better to do during another lockdown than extend the series.
Caches placed at the various launches and on foresters island will require you to leave your boat. Otherwise, all the Pickerel Point caches are intended to be retrieved by canoe, kayak, or any other type of small water vessel. Take a boat ride and enjoy the wildlife. Please do not walk on any private property.
Bring your own pen and replace cache as found.
Parking and a boat ramp is available at Deseronto Launch at the North end, Short Quick Road on the West side, Huff Wharf on the East or Sherman's point at the south end. Pick your starting point!
