Since I moved to this area about 10 years ago, I've spent a lot of time exploring the tracks on Mt Coot-tha. A few years ago I spotted a couple of gnomes at the reference spot and I thought it would be a fun place for a cache. However, when I returned to check on it, the gnomes had been broken. The cache isn't at the reference point but not too far away. There are a number of locations you can start walking from to reach the cache and you could possibly extend the walk to make the most of this lovely area.
September 2024 update: I hadn't been to this cache for a year or more so I was surprised to see two gnomes have built a stick house and now live here. 😁
