Geocache Description:

[EN] Port Arthur, ie part of district VIII -Turku, is largely a residential area formed by wooden houses. It was named after the East Asian port city of Port Arthur. When building the area, Russia had just lost a city to Japan in a war between the countries, and one of the masons happened saying he was to build a “new Port Arthur”.

In the area of Port Arthur, or more familiarly Portsa, there are considerably different electrical utility boxes along the streets. Over the years, almost all of them have been painted with the most fun works of art. This mystery cache leads to touring them in the form of waymarks.

[FIN] Port Arthurin eli Turun VIII kaupungiosa on suurelta osin puutalojen muodostamaa asuinaluetta.

Port Arthurin eli tuttavaisemmin Portsan, alueella on huomattavasti erilaisia sähkökaappeja katujen varrella. Niistä lähes kaikki on vuosien saatossa maalattu mitä hauskemmilla taideteoksilla. Tämä mysteerikätkö johdattelee kiertämään niitä waymarkkien muodossa.
