Attentie videobewaking

Deze cache en/of het omliggende gebied staat (mogelijk) onder videobewaking die niet wordt beheerd of toegankelijk is voor de eigenaar van de cache. Als u zich zorgen maakt over uw privacy, zoek dan niet naar deze cache.

Openingstijden / beschikbaarheid / toegankelijkheid

De eindlocatie is toegankelijk op dinsdag, woensdag, donderdag, vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag van 12:00 uur tot 16:30 uur.
De route gaat over verharde paden. Alleen het beginpunt en het eindpunt zijn niet toegankelijk met een buggy, kinderwagen, rolstoel, fiets en dergelijke.

Terrein regels voor de eindlocatie

Lees de regels voor je het terrein betreedt en hou je hieraan. Ik noem de belangrijkste:
* Heb respect voor alle bewoners en bezoekers op dit terrein.
* Geen honden toegestaan.
* Niet tussen de planten lopen of zoeken.
* Niet roken.

Vervoersmiddel / afstand

De route is ongeveer 11 tot 14 kilometer.
* Met de benenwagen, maar dan ben je wel lang onderweg.
* Met de fiets, je zult dan het laatste stuk moeten lopen (zonder fiets, zonder hond).
* Met de auto, je zult dan niet alleen het laatste stuk moeten lopen (zonder hond), maar op sommige plekken zal je ook even de auto moeten parkeren om een klein stukje te lopen. Alle locaties zijn in de buurt van een parkeerplaats. De route is dan wel een paar kilometer langer.

Het idee achter het verhaal van deze Wherigo

In 2020 zou de Grand Prix Formule 1 officieel naar Nederland komen. Daarmee zou voor miljoenen sportfans in Nederland een droom uit komen. Helaas is dit niet doorgegaan vanwege de pandemie, maar ten tijde dat de pandemie begon, had ik al drie Wherigo's klaar liggen over dit onderwerp. De verhalen zijn door drie verschillende personen uit mijn gezin bedacht. Dit verhaal is bedacht door S.F. van der Linden, destijds 14 jaar oud. Het publiceren van de caches heeft vanwege de pandemie ruim twee jaar vertraging opgelopen.

Het concept Wherigo

Wherigo (where-I-go oftewel waar-ik-ga) is de samensmelting van adventure games, GPS en de echte wereld. Wherigo is een toolbox om avonturen in de echte wereld mogelijk te maken. Waar u op de computer de muis of het toetsenbord gebruikte om u te verplaatsen, doet u dat met Wherigo door gewoon uzelf te verplaatsen. Wherigo is bedacht door de makers van geocaching.com, en maakt in potentie nog veel meer spannende buitenspelen met GPS mogelijk dan alleen geocaching.

Om een Wherigo te kunnen spelen, moet u eenmalig een app installeren op uw apparaat. Klik op het Wherigo-logo om naar de downloadpagina te gaan.

Het downloaden van de cartridge

Om deze Wherigo te kunnen spelen, moet u de cartridge downloaden. Klik op onderstaande afbeelding om naar de downloadpagina te gaan.

Het downloaden van de cartridge wil niet altijd lukken. Als je voor het eerst een cartridge wil downloaden, dan kan het zijn dat je eerst een keer moet inloggen via de website www.wherigo.com. Mogelijk moet je dan de voorwaarden accepteren. Om via je telefoon cartridges te kunnen downloaden, moet je ingelogd zijn in de app. Inloggen in de app gaat via "instellingen" en daarna "inloggegevens". Je logt in met je inloggegevens van geocaching.

Als het downloaden via de telefoon niet lukt, kan het zijn dat je nog een aanpassing moet doen in de instellingen van je telefoon. Ga naar instellingen, app-beheer, app lijst, WhereYouGo, standaard openen, ondersteunende links. Daar moeten "wherigo.com" en "www.wherigo.com" aan staan.

Je kunt de cartridge ook downloaden via de computer. Als je daarna je telefoon met je computer verbindt, kun je het gwc-bestand in de juiste folder op je telefoon zetten. Ik adviseer om de cartridge thuis te downloaden en te checken of het werkt op je apparaat, zeker als je voor de eerste keer een cartridge gaat downloaden.

Het spelen van de cartridge

In het hoofdmenu staan 4 opties: "Locaties", "U ziet", "Inventaris", "Taken". Bij "Locaties" kun je zien welke zone actief is, waar je naar toe moet gaan om verder te gaan met het spel. Bij "U ziet" kun je personen of objecten zien waar je wat mee moet doen. Bij "Inventaris" zie je dingen die je bij je hebt. Dat kan de uitleg zijn over het spel, of iets wat je hebt meegenomen onderweg, of een persoon die met je mee gaat bijvoorbeeld. Gedurende het spel kan het zijn dat je iets moet doen met dingen of personen die je in je inventaris hebt staan. Bij "Taken" kun je zien wat je moet doen, als je even niet weet hoe je verder moet spelen. Het uitvoeren van een taak doe je door ofwel naar een locatie te gaan, ofwel iets te doen bij "U ziet" of iets te doen bij "Inventaris".

Soms staat er in je scherm dat je een QR-code kan scannen. Dit is een fout in het programma, dit kun je dus negeren. Je kunt je antwoord invoeren en dan op antwoord klikken, als er om een antwoord gevraagd wordt.

Tussendoor slaat het programma zichzelf steeds op. Mocht het programma vastlopen, dan kun je gewoon verder spelen waar je gebleven was. Als je het programma opnieuw moet opstarten, start dan geen nieuw spel, maar ga verder met de laatst opgeslagen versie.

Mocht je fouten tegen komen in het spel, laat het mij dan weten door een bericht te sturen via het berichtencentrum.

Opening hours / availability / accessibility

The final location is accessible from tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday and sunday from 12:00 o'clock to 16:30 o'clock.
The route is along paved paths. Only the start location and the end location are not accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, buggies, bicycle etcetera.

Terrain rules for the final location

Read the rules before entering the site and stick to them. I will mention the most important ones:
* Have respect for all residents and visitors on this property.
* No dogs allowed.
* Do not walk or search between the plants.
* No smoking.

Means of transport / distance

The route is about 11 to 14 kilometers.
* Hike, but then you are on the road for a long time.
* By bike, you will have to walk the last part (without a bike, without a dog).
* By car, you will not only have to walk the last part (without a dog), but in some places you will also have to park the car and walk a short distance. All locations are near a parking lot. The route will be a bit longer by car.

The idea behind the story of this Wherigo

In 2020, the Formula 1 Grand Prix would officially come to the Netherlands. This would be a dream come true for millions of sports fans in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, this did not take place due to the pandemic, but at the time the pandemic started, I already had three Wherigos ready on this subject. The stories were created by three different people from my family. This story was created by S.F. van der Linden, at the age of 14. The publication of the caches has been delayed by more than two years due to the pandemic.

The Wherigo concept

Wherigo (where-I-go) is the fusion of adventure games, GPS and the real world. Wherigo is a toolbox to enable adventures in the real world. Where on the computer you used the mouse or keyboard to move around, with Wherigo you do that by simply moving yourself. Wherigo was conceived by the makers of geocaching.com, and potentially makes many more exciting outdoor games with GPS possible than just geocaching.

To play a Wherigo, you need to install an app on your device. Click on the Wherigo logo to go to the download page.

Downloading the cartridge

To play this Wherigo, you need to download the cartridge. Click on the image below to go to the download page.

Downloading the cartridge will not always work. If you want to download a cartridge for the first time, you may first have to log in via the website www.wherigo.com. You may then have to accept the terms and conditions. To download cartridges from your phone, you must be logged in to the app. Logging in to the app is done via "settings" and then "login details". You log in with your geocaching login details.

If you can't download from your phone, you may need to make another adjustment to your phone's settings. Go to settings, app management, app list, WhereYouGo, open by default, supporting links. It should say "wherigo.com" and "www.wherigo.com".

You can also download the cartridge on your computer first. After that, when you connect your phone to your computer, you can put the gwc file in the appropriate folder on your phone. I recommend downloading the cartridge at home and checking if it works on your device, especially if you are going to download a cartridge for the first time.

Playing the cartridge

In the main menu there are 4 options: "Locations", "You see", "Inventory", "Tasks". Under "Locations" you can see which zone is active, where you need to go to continue with the game. Under "You see" you can see people or objects that you have to do something with. Under "Inventory" you see things that you carry with you. That can be the explanation of the game, or something you have taken with you along the way, or a person who is going with you, for example. During the game you may have to do something with things or people that you have in your inventory. Under "Tasks" you can see what you have to do, when you don't know how to continue playing. You do a task by either going to a location, or doing something at "You see" or doing something at "Inventory".

Sometimes your screen states that you can scan a QR code. This is an error in the program, so just ignore this. You can enter your answer and then click on answer.

In between, the program will make backups. If the program crashes, you can continue playing where you left off. If you need to restart the program, do not start a new game, but continue with the last saved version.

Please note: no dogs are allowed at the final location, so leave them at home! Please note the opening hours! Follow the instructions in the program before searching for the cache.
