Now that the provincial stay at home order is lifed, we decided that we would try to add some new and exciting caches in our local area as we noticed that we had found most of the ones in Orleans.
This cache is part of our series in honour of DC Comic Characters.
This Cache is homage to the caped crusader.... Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na - Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na - BATMAN!
One of the most iconic fictional characters in the world, Batman has dedicated his life to an endless crusade, a war on all criminals in the name of his murdered parents, who were taken from him when he was just a child. Since that tragic night, he has trained his body and mind to near physical perfection to be a self-made Super Hero. He's developed an arsenal of technology that would put most armies to shame. And he's assembled teams of his fellow DC Super Heroes, like the Justice League, the Outsiders and Batman, Incorporated.
A playboy billionaire by day, Bruce Wayne’s double life affords him the comfort of a life without financial worry, a loyal butler-turned-guardian and the perfect base of operations in the ancient network of caves beneath his family’s sprawling estate. By night, however, he sheds all pretense, dons his iconic scalloped cape and pointed cowl and takes to the shadowy streets, skies and rooftops of Gotham City.
The cache you seek is symbolic of Batman's secret layer - the Bat Cave!!
Who knew there was a spot that was representive of such an iconic hideout - right here in Orleans??
This cache is located in a place that is visable by muggles, but the likelihood is that if you use your sense of deduction, you should be able find the hiding spot and sign the log without alerting anyone or setting off any bat-signals.
There is parking not too far away from the cache, but the cache is not large enough for trades or a pen, so please bring your own. There is a body of water nearby - so please use caution when approaching/looking for the cache. The cache could be accessed in the winter but you would need to exercise extreme caution as you need to access GZ by going down a slight gradual hill.
It doesnt matter if you love Adam West, Micheal Keaton, Val Kilmer, Ben Affleck, Lego or any of the other number of actors who played this historical DC character We doubt the debate will ever be settled, but we can all relate to one thing " I am Batman!"
