[cs] Angeliki si povzdechla. Za těch pět let vystřídala práci v několika přijímacích centrech, ale takový nápor, jako tady na Lesvu, asi nepamatuje. Není snad ani v lidských silách tohle zvládnout. Každý den vyloví pobřežní stráž z moře několik tisíc zubožených lidí, kteří doufají v lepší život na západě. Pro všechny je třeba sehnat přístřeší a jídlo do doby, než se rozhodne o jejich dalším osudu. Všechny je nutné poslat na zdravotní prohlídku a hlavně, pokusit se věrohodně zjistit, co jsou zač.
[en] Angeliki sighed. During the past five years, she went through several reception centers but nowhere she experienced such a rush like here on Lesvos. It does not seem to be humanly possible to cope with this. Every day the coast guard pull from the sea thousands of desperate people who hope for a better life in the West. All of them have to be provided with food and shelter until the decision about their further fate is taken. All have to be medically examined, and, last but not least, one has to assess who they really are.
[cs] Jenže jak? Ti lidé mnohdy nemluví anglicky, natož řecky; Angeliki zase neumí arabsky a tlumočníků je tak zoufalý nedostatek! Mnozí migranti nemají žádné doklady. A pokud jsou schopni o sobě něco říct nějakým srozumitelným jazykem, samozřejmě jsou všichni ze Sýrie. Samozřejmě. Moc dobře vědí, že do země, ve které zuří občanská válka, je evropské úřady nevrátí. Jak má ale Angeliki posoudit, jestli mluví pravdu?
[en] But how? The people rarely speak English, not to mention Greek; on the other hand, Angeliki does not understand Arabic, and there are so few interpreters! Many migrants have no ID, and if they are able to say anything in a comprehensible language, of course they all come from Syria. Of course. They know very well that the European authorities will not send them back to a country in civil war. But how shall Angeliki know whether they are telling the truth?
[cs] Dorozumívají se jakousi orientální hatmatilkou, oblékají se jako muslimové, někteří mají u sebe papíry popsané arabským písmem, které Angeliki sice dokáže poznat, ale rozhodně ne přečíst. To vše pasuje na Sýrii stejně jako na dobrých dvacet dalších zemí! Věčná škoda, že Angeliki nedokáže aspoň přečíst ty papíry, co mají u sebe. Minulý měsíc jí jeden tlumočník vysvětlil, že ne vše, co je psané arabským písmem, musí být nutně arabština. A pokud si údajný Syřan čte něco paštunsky, pak to pravděpodobně není Syřan, ale spíš Afghánec. Navíc se proslýchá, že ty texty jim rozdávají převaděči a je v nich popsáno, kde mají uprchlíci hledat spojku pro další putování Evropou. Ale to bude nejspíš jen nějaká pohádka…
[en] They communicate with a sort of oriental gibberish, they dress like Moslems, some of them have papers covered with Arabic script, which Angeliki can recognize but definitely not read. All this fits Syria as well as good twenty other countries! What a pity that Angeliki cannot at least read the papers that they have on them. Last month one interpreter explained to her that if something is written in the Arabic script, it is not necessarily in the Arabic language. And if a purported Syrian reads Pashto, then he probably is not a Syrian but rather an Afghan. Moreover, there are rumors that they get the texts from people smugglers and that the texts hide information where the refugees should seek their contact person for further journey across Europe. But that is most likely just a fairy tale…
Jak na keš? Jestliže jste vyluštili Slovanskou rodinu (GC42WW8), bude vám luštění povědomé – princip je v podstatě stejný. Musíte přijít na to, který text je psán kterým jazykem, a musíte také rozhodnout, který bod na mapě je nejpravděpodobnějším místem, kde se dotyčným jazykem mluví. No a pak už jen taková drobnost: v textu najděte číslo :-)

How to find the cache? If you have solved Slovanská rodina (Slavic family, GC42WW8), you will find the puzzle familiar – in fact, the principle is the same. You have to figure out which text is written in which language, and you have to establish which point on the map is the most likely place where the language is spoken. And then just a trifle: find a number in the text :-)
The first stage contains a key together with instructions where to look for the refugees’ hideout. After finding the cache, please return the key back to its place! The key is located here:
