Geocache Description:

WARNING: DO NOT GO TO THE COORDINATES LISTED ABOVE. THEY ARE NOT THE CACHE LOCATION. PLEASE READ THE CACHE REPORT BEFORE DRIVING ANYWHERE. In this hunt, you need to solve a puzzle to find the cache coordinates. The coordinates listed for this cache report are not the coordinates of the cache, they are just there to bring up a map of Northern Virginia, where, yes, the cache is actually located. Don't bother going to those coordinates - there is nothing there of interest. Listed below are six coordinates. Don't go to those either. However, the six coordinates form a puzzle that will, when solved, give you a good idea of the seventh coordinates - that's where you actually need to go. 1) N 38 44.152 W 77 19.590

6) N 38 44.872 W 77 31.601 7) N 38 xx.xxx W 77 xx.xxx You need to examine the six coordinates, and solve the puzzle to determine the seventh coordinates. Find how the six relate, and you'll know how to get the seventh. Don't go through a lot of trouble doing numerical analysis because this isn't mathematical. We'll leave that to DisQuoi. The seventh set of coordinates is somewhere in a Northern Virginia park. Once you figure out which park, go there. Near the main entrance of the park you will find a playground. The cache coordinates are written under one of the sliding boards. The cache itself is a half-gallon, clear Rubbermaid box placed within a couple miles of the playground. It is within sight of a paved path in a heavily traveled area. Please be discreet when retrieving the cache. You can park right at the trailhead, although its location may not be obvious. When your GPSr reads about a quarter mile from the cache, you are at the right trailhead. All locations involved close at dark. This cache hunt is rated 3.5 in difficulty due to the cumulative effect of the three challenges you will need to overcome: a) Figuring out the puzzle to locate the park with the correct playground.
b) Locating the trailhead to the paved path.
c) Finding the (we hope) well-concealed cache location. The encrypted hint is only about the cache placement and doesn't help in solving the puzzle. If you need help with the puzzle, please email us and request a cheat, by number (see below). The first cheat is not available to a potential first finder - second cheat not available to potential second finder, etc. The following cheats are available, and must be requested in order. Cheat #1: The name of a West Coast cache that uses the exact same puzzle (either this is an incredible coincidence, or we stole the idea). You may gain some insight from its title and the log entries there. Cheat #2: The methodology that needs to be applied to the six coordinates. Cheat #3: A one-word clue that should make it all pretty clear, or else obscure the issue beyond any semblance of hope. Cheat #4: Please stop filling up our inbox. We'll just tell you what park to go to. Cheat #5: Send us your address. We will retrieve the cache and bring it to your house. Ha Ha - just kidding about #5. Happy hunting.
