Shell Ridge Open Space: Twin Ponds Loop is a 6.8 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located in the Walnut Creek area that features beautiful wildflowers and is rated at moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail. Many other trails to connect to while accessing the loop.
Park hours are Open 1/2 hour before sunrise and 1/2 hour after sunset
Parking is available nearby on Rockspring Place
The cache is located just below the main trail so not to be seen by the nearby homes.
As always be aware of wildlife such as snakes, ticks, coyotes etc and be wary of sticking your hands in small dark crevices!
