~~ Temp opening this up to all members. Please be respectful. I'm only having this open to all for a short time in hopes more people will see this cool site ~~
NOTE: Hint is spoilery, but I want people to be able to find it if they get really stuck
One of my favorite places to take people out to. And now I want to share it with you all! It's been a thing I have watched decay for a while, and used to be in alot better shape, but it's still wonderful to see!
Please respect the neighbors, don't park in anyone's driveways or next right at their houses. There is a spot you can park on the side of the road and it'll be fine. Or more safer, park in the parking lot of the Sunol Depot.
Info from someone who knew more about trains:
" That is a EMD F7A from GM's locomotive division, EMD. They had a 4-5yr production run spanning the 1940-50's. A v16 diesel producing 1500hp runs its genset. They were used both for freight and passenger service. The paint scheme looks like it may have been from the Louisiana & Northwestern (L&NW) lines."
It's not a long walk, but it's on rocks/uneven ground. Bring water is reccomended.
Cache itself is big enough for goodies and trackables!
Have left quite a few things in there for people :3
Enjoy!
