Giraffe Spots Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

BethKatzPA: One too many times having to extract the test tube stuck between the trunks. Plus it hasn't had its decorations for a while. Yes, I'll make you come look for something else in this overgrown area.

Geocache Description:

Part of my fungi series in Lancaster County Central Park. Do not eat the fungi. ... While searching for another cache location, I found some intriguing crust fungus commonly known as Giraffe Spots (Peniophora albobadia). In an ideal world, I would paint an ammo can textured brown to resemeble wood and add giraffe spots to it and fill it with little homemade beaded giraffes for finders to take. But that isn't what you will find. Container originally suggested giraffe spots, but it is smaller. And I need to replace the spots.

Coords bounce around here. A lot. Container is nestled between two tall substantial tree trunks and covered by a stick. Please recover.

PLEASE DO NOT SHOVE CONTAINER TIGHTLY BETWEEN TREES. BE GENTLE.

Fungus reference: Giraffe Spots

Giraffe photos welcome.

Congratulatiosn to RyanTiffSem on the quick FTF.
