THIS CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES
These recently-installed murals on the corners of Main and Second Streets in downtown Hayward depict four of Hayward’s founding fathers, along with some general history and the recreational activities Hayward is famous for.
The posted coordinates will lead you to the designated mural. The coordinates for the final can be obtained by gathering information found on the mural.
The cache can be found at the following coordinates:

AAA = The year Bob and Fannie founded the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame minus (-) 1328
BBB = The year the iconic Muskie was complete minus (-) 1508
All six “murals” caches are located in the same general area, so it’s in your best interest to solve all six, then head out to find them all. Parking coords will become obvious once you get there, and all caches can be found off well-trodden trails, so there is no need to bushwhack. All Wisconsin-typical warnings apply, i.e. bug spray in the summer, hunter orange during hunting season, etc.
