The Martin Harris Cemetery (Clarkston Cemetery) is incredibly quaint, humble in size, and filled with many pioneers. Whether or not you have any affliation with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the history here is very fascinating - to say in the least! Here, you can read up on Martin Harris and as well you can gain a glimpse of his journey to Clarkston, UT. Here you can see his reverent cemetery stone and relatives nearby.
Standing on this hill, you get a great view of Cache Valley, and even up north into Idaho. Humility comes to mind when I view the valley from this spot, reflecting on how those pioneers of olden times must have felt finally reaching this tremendously beautiful location. Many locals have strong heritage here, with ancestors watching over their descendants. There's a pioneer spirit here, and I respect that.
Enjoy this beautiful view, Historical location, and I encourage each geocacher to find some humility in appreciating those who came before us.
