Our first official Geocaching event since 14.3.2020!
Another litter picking event along Lon Eifion Cycle Path, it maybe optimistic but lets see if we can pick from Penygroes to Groeslon.
Where: Inigo Jones, Tudor Slate Works, Groeslon, Caernarfon LL54 7UE
When: Saturday 14th August 2021
Time: 11am to 1pm
Our task for the day will be to pick up as much litter as possible along the cycle path. The car park at Inigo Jones will be our base and meeting point.
We will be complying with all current Covid Restrictions and keeping a record sheet of attendees contact details for Track & Trace. As we will be outside with plenty of space we feel all Covid risks are minimial. Gwynedd Council Tidy Towns Scheme will be supplying litter pickers, bag hoops etc but please bring your own gloves.
We have given this event a Terrain rate of 2 due to some steep foliage covered banks but the cycle path is tarmac and suitable for both wheelchairs and strollers. As with any Geocaching activity you carry out this event within your own capabilities and at your own risk.
