Geocache Description:

This is the first of 9 caches following a local walk through Llanwrtyd Wells, that myself and Meg the dog, love doing.

Llanwrtyd Wells grew in the 19th century, becoming a popular Victorian spa town. Starting at one of the signs welcoming you into Llanwrtyd Wells, the smallest town in Britain, this cache route will take you close to the original spa which is located close to cache 4- another brick in the wall. In recent years, LW has become popular for it's local events including but the bi-annual Alternative Games, and highly popular annual Man versus Horse race and bog snorkelling championships. This route is approximately 3 miles long, and is accessible by foot and with sturdy prams. The route may not fully be accessible on bike or wheelchair. Please take care along the roads and by the river side (the beautiful Afon Irfon). The use of tweezers is highly recommended in some of these caches (but not this one). Please place caches exactly as found. Please take time to visit the local pubs, shops, cafe, heritage centre and Dolwen fields.

There is space for a TB within this log. Please watch your footing, but don't always look at your feet.... You may need to look up for this one 😉

Happy Caching!

Well done to Sniffadogz for being first to find this set of caches!
