This log-only micro just above the trailhead parking area serves to get you on the correct trail for nearby colin&daddy caches. Plus great views down Kagel Canyon and even better if you keep going.
Caution: venomous snakes, ticks, scratchy bushes, precarious footing, sunburn, and the like are pretty much guaranteed. Seriously. Mountain lions inhabit the area. Please prepare adequately.
