Happy Father's Day! This one goes out to my dad, Mace. For Father's Day of 2021, I decided to turn my father's gift into a geocache. He could not get his gifts until he found the geocache holding all of his treasures! Luckily, he did find it with some DIY coordinates that I created for him. Once he discovered his homemade geocache, he decided to relocate it to our family's church. Although I have grown and moved out of my hometown, my dad and I still try to get out and geocache as often as we are able to when I come to town. There are a handful of reasons as to why my father is so cool and deserves and entire geocache created in his name. My father is very special for many reasons. To name a few...
1. He raised quadruplets. Yes, I am one of four. And somehow he and my mother survived?!
2. I appreciate that I gained an adventurous soul from him. We always value the unpredictable routes that brings us to new "ground zeros".
3. As we grow older, we go for a lot of park-and-grabs because...my dad has taken some less than graceful tumbles during [majority] of our geocaching endeavours. But he still gets up, laughs it off and is ready to move on to the next one! I think that is very admirable.
4. My father will always greet you with a genial greeting and he will talk your ear off. He loves all people. Please, feel free to leave him a message in your log and I will pass along your kind messages to him. It would make his day! :-)
Please replace the geocache as you found it. There is room for trinkets and travel bugs. My father is heavily involved in the church-- we have permission to place geocache here and can maintenance this cache if you find that it needs any help. Just leave a note!
