Debby and her husband Dennis (aka DucksLanding) joined Geocaching.com in March of 2009 and found their first find a few months later (GCR30K (Stop and take a drink). They loved geocaching and their caching family and have collected over 36,000 Smileys, along with giving back to the caching community by hiding over 225 for others to find. Their adventures have taken them to 44 US states as well as Ontario, Canada.
After meeting them at a Makers Madness event in Edon Ohio, we all became friends and crossed paths often in numerous caching adventures and events. Debby was always smiling and sure to offer a laugh.
During a memorial event for Debby, Mr. Team Doxie (Joe) and OCCD (Bill) won some caching containers as door prizes. It was decided to take these containers and repurpose them into a tribute series for Debby. There are 8 series containers and a bonus cache, all camo'd with her in mind. Debby will be missed by her many geocaching friends and family.
