Team BETH (Bflentje, Essap2, TJnAJ, Hijfte) kayak-cached down the Cannon on a beautiful Saturday maintenance run adding some new caches along the way. First came up with Team "THEB" from our names and then realized BETH was at least a word. There weren't any multis along the river, so added this one.
Cannon River caching has always been my favorite Minnesota caching experience (since my first runs in 2010 & 2011). Happy to add to the fun and have a reason to come down for maintenance runs in the future. :)
At stage one, there is a sign. While placing this (low water), we had to paddle past the island and walk up from the SE end. During high water, you may be able to paddle around the island and see the sign from your boat.
Using the words on the sign, solve for N44 31.AAA W092 51.ZZZ
AAA = Number of letters on the sign + 433
ZZZ = 784 - (Number of letters in 1st word * Number of letters in 2nd word)
The difficulty is due to all the nooks that would make for great hiding spots and possible bounce along the face of the cliff
