I think that every park in the Helena area should have at least two caches, don't you? Kennedy Park (also known as JFK Park) is one of our families' favorite places to have a picnic lunch, and we love walking the trail that follows the Prickly Pear Creek. It s definitely one of the most beautiful parks in the Helena area. This cache is hidden in my favorite spot in the whole park. I feel as though the tree canopy is hiding the creekside from the world. So, what better spot for a cache?
Container is a cammo'ed tupperware, hiding down a trail near the creek. It's classified as regular, since the container is over 1L, but not by much. You shouldn't need to do much bushwhacking. Please stay on the trail as much as possible. It'll be easier for you and the wildlife!
The cache is great for kids, and full of fun SWAG geared toward children. This little hidden area is also a great place to take kids wading! The water is very shallow, but use discretion and always watch young children in water.
