The second in a short series of Meet & Greet events in Summer 2021, hosted near various local ballparks. The ballpark in question is the CaroMont Health Park, home to the Gastonia Honey Hunters. The name moniker is an allusion to Ransom Hunter, the first freed slave to own property in Gaston County, as well as honey badgers, a hardy creature.
Not much to write for the team's history- it is still in its inaugural 2021 season. The stadium was initially called the FUSE District Stadium, after the FUSE (Frankling Urban Sports and Entertainment) District near downtown Gastonia, part of a larger revitalization effort for the city. I had the pleasure of attending their first ever game, an exhibition match they won handily. The team is part of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, a 9 team league partnered with MLB (but outside the minor league system). The nearest competitor geographically is the High Point Rockers. The team's record is 23-28 as of this writing.

The event is an informal Meet & Greet at a local brewery (about a half mile from the stadium), and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Please follow all local, state, and federal guidelines for social distancing, mask-wearing, etc.
There is a small amount of parking just south of the posted coordinates, and overflow lots to the west and north.
UPDATE: I will be delayed by a last minute work function- pamlicojack has graciously agreed to host until I'm able to arrive. I've extended the event out to 7:30pm as well.
