CITO 2021, Season One
Attend a CITO up to 31st August 2021 to get a CITO souvenir.
Parking: There is some on street parking opposite the reserve on Laxton Road (or in many of the other side streets nearby).
Where: We will meet by the reserve front gates (published co-ordinates).
What: We will be clearing weeds from the trees in the front hedge, some of these were planted late 2019 and can do with some help to make sure they get plenty of light! We will also be looking to lightly trim the existing hedge which was also laid in 2019.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Additional COVID measures: We are encouraging indivdiuals to work in their own groups and social distance where possible from any other groups. We ask you to bring your own gloves and where appropriate tools, so if you have shears and secateurs please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply, we just ask that you don't share tools outside of your groups.
Unfortunatley we also won't be supplying our normal drinks and biscuits so please do bring along your own refreshments. We will still have a break mid-way where we can take a rest and catch up, but please do continue to maintain distance between individuals where appropriate.
