Hi everyone and welcome to Indigobirdie's Treasure hunt.
Background: This Treasure hunt is dedicated to Indigobirdie's return back to Ireland in the Summer of 2021. That meant I had alot of time to myself so I decided to create a treasure hunt in preperation for her return in August. With her permission I have opened the treasure hunt a little bit early for any FTF seekers. This treasure hunt will bring you around most of Roscommon town and bring you to its main attractions. The treasure hunt has not been completed (yet) and the geocaches can be collected in any order. Also the ordering may not be the quickest way to collect all geocaches.
Geocache: Officially this is the first geocache in the hunt. It is placed outside one of the entrances of Oldwood. Although it may just look like any other ordinary estate, it is slightly different.Further in the estate, in the small crevices of the houses, holds the nests of swifts. These are small birds that are similar to swallows. They come from Africa during the summer, breed and then leave at the start of Autumn. If you are lucky to come to the cache during the summer you can see them fly above and below. Perfect for a birdwatcher.

For Indigobirdie's Treasure Hunt 2 be careful if you are walking. Some of the road has no pavemant to walk on so you have to walk on the road for parts.
