Arnold Palmer is a household name in the world of golf. When he turned professional in 1954 he was already well on his way to dominating golf courses around the tour. Beyond the titles and wins, Palmer was a humble, charismatic professional. His attitude and advancement of the sport earned him the nickname of "The King" as well as a swell beverage named after him.
This cache is in his honor at our local Oneonta course. With the club's permission you can stop by for this and check out this historic course. Bring a pencil to sign and mark your score. Maybe it would be as low as Palmer's.
