Geocache Description:

Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser performed a daring raid upon the Guild the other night.  They recovered a small chest of goodies, that includes rubies diamonds, gold, a magical miniture giant fly,  and much more.  Now after they sat around abit admiring their new treasures they thought, "well what if they coming looking for it or another enterprising young rogue would like to make his name or fortune".  That is when they decided they must hide it well.  So off our two adventures went, well not far just outside of  Lankhmar ( their favorite city).  They spent much time arguing over what spot is best.  Fafhrd wanted it high in the rocks while the Mouser thought a stump might do better.  In the end they finally reached a compromise, they chose a spot that did not require climbing up the rocks, but that was not quite as obvious as a simple stump.  They hid the box in a tight place and memorized the spot well.  Was that the end of this adventure?  Of course not ( they could never make something that simple could they?)!  Later that evening sitting at the tavern they realized "what if we get to far into our cups and spill the hiding spot of our cache".  So then they decided they must have a spell put upon them so they would not remember unless a key word was spoken to release teh spell and remind them.  This is not so simple, two people require to spells so off to their wizardly patrons they ran.  Fafhrd to Ningauble of the Seven Eyes and Mouser to Sheelba of the Eyeless Face.  Though little did they know that the two wizards had been conspiring against them, tiring of their tireless complaints.   The spells were cast and then the two adventurers suddenly realized they were in a rocky situation, the wizardly patrons had both neglected to inform them of the word to help them recall.  So once again the pair were sulking and pondering the way out of this mess at the tavern.  So if you are even in the outskirts of Lankhmar.... if you would be so kind .... as too look for the their hidden treasures?  If you find it feel free to trade some items for items, even jot your name on some paper.  Then if you run across our scoundrels sitting in the tavern give them a hint or not.  You did get your share right?

Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser were a creation of the author Fritz Leiber.  They first appeared in print in a 1958 short story, then had their own adventures published in their own books from the 1960's, 1970's up to the last book published in 1988.  Fafhrd is a large barbarian, who cansing quite well and a thief.  He uses a two handed sword named Graywand.  The Gray Mouser is a very short rogue who is an expert swordsman and nearly as good with a sling.  The mouser uses a sabre named Scalpel and a dagger named Cat's Claw.  I believe it was seven books that tell the tale of their misbegotten adventures.
