While spending an awesome Sunday afternoon in August fishing Milford Lake behind the nearby town cemetery, decided to drop off a few new geocaches. After catching 2 wipers and 2 bluegills and a good sunburn, started to head for home. Placed first cache in vicinity of Milford cemetery. This second cache was placed on the south-eastern outskirts of the town of Milford, KS.
In order to get to this cache, travel north/south on US HWY 77 between the towns of Junction City/Milford, KS. Once you reach the intersection with Houston Street, turn west and travel roughly 1/4 mile or so. You should come to an unmarked road that is in the shape of the letter "U". Turn south onto that "U" shaped road and travel to the base of the letter. Park very close to cache location.
Once parked, short hike down a rather small incline and into that Kansas forest-of-doom!!! DO NOT cross any fences or cables that may be in the area. Should be short search for this cache container. Unfortunately, not many places to hide a cache effectively at this location, so placed cache in a likely spot. However, BEWARE of those THORNS!!!! You have been warned!!
Container that you should find is camo-ed and a little longer than an adult human's THUMB - maybe.
