Have you ever fizzied? The geocacher knows exactly what you mean. It's the eluded completed D/T matrix of all combinations of nine Difficulty ratings times nine Terrain ratings. A geocacher has fizzied when all possible D/T combinations (9 X 9 = 81) of cache ratings are found.
On August 1, 2021, members of my GeoFamily, along with myself attempted to complete a challenging fizzy in a day. There was an early morning river trail, followed by a bike ride down another trail, and a number of single D/Ts in between. Challenge was completed with a few hours to spare with a nasty hike for the 5/5, which poses the question why we left this one for the last cache.
This challenge is quite simple, how many ways have you fizzied?
Geocaching rules does not allow me to publish a challenge to verify you have fizzied in a day, but this challenge is to verify if you fizzied in five other ways:
1) From the cache types (Trad, Puzzle, Multi, Earth, Virtual, Letterbox, etc.) you must have a complete fizzy in any one cache type.
2) From the cache sizes (Micro, Small, Regular, Large, Other, Virtual) you must have a complete fizzy in any one cache size.
3) From the cache attributes, you must have a complete fizzy in any one attribute.
4) Based on found dates, you must have a complete fizzy from finds on any one day of the week (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun)
5) You must have a complete fizzy from finds in any one province in Canada, or state in USA.
Note: the same cache can be used to qualify for multiple fizzies. You could use the same cache find for each required fizzy, so the minimum number of caches needed to complete this challenge is 81 finds.
All finds count, including archived caches, and finds made before and after this cache is published and when it is found.
You are welcome to come sign the log, however, until the challenge criteria is met, you cannot claim as a find.
