Ke-Chunk (Kecak) or Turtle Village was the Ho-Chunk settlement located at the confluence of Turtle Creek and Rock River.
Between about 1822-1832 it was one of the major villages of the Ho- Chunk ( Winnebago) tribe. In the 1829 survey, there were 700 folks living here.
Come and enjoy the Nature at the Confluence and see all that they have to offer. There is an eagle nest that is easily seen from the property.
