A simple drive by or collect whilist walking around this beautiful area.
Heads Nook is a small village which was onced served by a railway station; this was closed during the sixties. Cairn Beck runs close by and the Glen nature reserve is well worth a visit.
Heads Nook Institute was built in 1924 and is not to be confused with Heads Nook Hall; which is the guest house a short way out of the village.
The orginal cache has been replaced and relocated a few feet away from the orginal spot - see log for new co-ordinates; due to it not being replaced in the correct spot and/or being muggled.
Congratulations on Sarahbt12 for the FTF.
The tree cover can mess with gps co-ords so be mindful of this when looking. The only good phone signal in these parts is vodaphone; apologies to those who are on other networks. I will help out if you get really stuck.
