Gamle Buerne / The Old Arches

These arches are all that remains from the old bus garage roof construction that used to be here, and now converted to a barbeque area.

A little strange now to see this remnant of an iconic building erected in 1951-1953. Originally, as can be seen in the photo, there were 5 arches in which the roof was suspended, so that a column-free space was kept clear for all the buses.
