Peters village history #01
Peters village might be an all new community, but the site comes with a fascinating history.
The coordinates listed will take you to panel 1 of the Peter’s village history trail. All the info needed can be found on this sign, (but the rest of the trail is very interesting and informative if you wish to see them all)
Peters village begins with the production of lime, originally produced as agricultural fertilizer and then for building mortar. The chalk in the North downs and proximity to the adjacent river made this a prime location to meet future demands
