The Little Free Library is a growing phenomenon with over 100,000 worldwide. We love our Little Free Library because we love to read and we want our neighbors to have a place where they can both read and exchange books. This Little Free Library is made completely out of reclaimed materal with the exception of the solar lights. The stained glass is from the Baptist Student Union worship center at the University of Alabama were the owners met. The roof is from our house and was saved when the insurance company would no longer allow cedar roofing. The wood is from a local cabinet shop who graciously allows us to go through their scrap pile and pull out whatever we need. Even the clear class and the bell came from a thrift store. To make both our library and this geocache more interesting, we decided to combine these favorite pasttimes. If you came to find the GeoCache hidden here--SURPRISE!
