Bizonyos esetekben a lerakódás során fellépő erózió miatt egyes rétegeket elszállítanak, később újakat fednek le, ami időrést okoz a rétegekben. Ebben az esetben hyata néven említik.
Jellemzők
Általában minden réteg egyike a sok egymással párhuzamosan elhelyezkedő, természetes erők által lerakott rétegnek. Elterjedhetnek a Föld négy négyzet alakú felületén. Mindegyik öv a letelepedés sajátos módját képviseli: folyami hordalék, tengerparti homok, szénmocsár, homokdűne, lávaágy stb. A rétegek az alapvető építőelemek.
A kőzetrétegek geológiai feljegyzéseket hoznak létre a keletkezésük idején uralkodó állapotokról.
Ezeket a neveket különböző vastagságú rétegekhez használják
Laminált: kevesebb, mint 1 cm vastag
tábla: vastag 1 - 20 cm
pad: vastag 20 - 100 cm
szilárd réteg: több mint 100 cm
Kérdések:
1. Ismertesse a helyi kőzetek rétegződését.
2. Milyen típusú erő uralkodik a kőzetben a kezdeti koordinátákon?
3. Készítsen képet magáról vagy a GPS -ről a megadott koordináták közelében.

This EarthCache will take you a short distance from an abandoned quarry, where we can see layers of rocks.
Geology
Layer is a technical term from geology, which refers to a plate-shaped body formed by rock or ice, which is approximately horizontal in relation to the overlying and lower layer. Looking at several layers, it is possible to better or worse distinguish between them, the transition to a change in their composition. The sequence of layers must be layered. The layers can be formed by sedimentary rocks as well as metamorphic and magmatic rocks. In the case of sedimentary layers, it is possible to determine the age of rocks based on them, the formation of which is associated with the rule of superposition, where the older layers are deeper and the younger ones are above them. In some cases, due to erosion during deposition, some layers are carried away and later covered by new ones, creating a time gap in the layers. In this case, it is referred to as hyata.
Characteristics
Each layer is generally one of many parallel layers lying on top of each other, deposited by natural forces. They can spread across the four square way of the Earth's surface. The layers can usually be seen as strips of differently colored or structured material exposed on cliffs, road structures, quarries and river banks. The individual strips can vary in thickness from a few millimeters to several or more. Each belt represents a specific way of settling: river alluvium, beach sand, coal swamp, sand dune, lava bed, etc. Stratigraphy The science of layering and stratification is mostly stratigraphy. Layers are the basic building block.
Rock layers bring geological records of the conditions prevailing at the time of their creation. Layers and layers of housing are named after geographical objects (city, region, mountains, eg Lunz layers), where they were first described, or according to the characteristic lithology - the rocks that make them up (eg Menilite layers). The thickness of the layers is the perpendicular distance between the bottom and top of the layers.
These names are used for different thickness layers
Laminate: less than 1 cm thick
board: thick 1 - 20 cm
bench: thick 20 - 100 cm
solid layer: more than 100 cm
