TL;DR: An uphill bike/hike/walk with a short bushwhack to a small cache in the woods.
On the most direct route to this cache, you'll walk up a water tower service road, then take a trail at the end of the road (on the left) for a short distance, followed by a short bushwalk (about 200 feet). The nearby water tower (it's not really a tower) is a landmark among trail users of the Boston Lot Conservation Area and its neighboring lands, located between the hospital, the lake and nearby residential communities. If you decide to ride your bike up the hill, you'll have a nice cruise back down afterward. Or take a little extra time to check out some of the nearby trails over to Boston Lot Lake and the beautiful surrounding forests. And of course there are several more geocaches in the area, too.
Bonus Cache: This is part of a series of caches, each of which contains a letter tile from the world's most popular word game. Take note of the letter associated with this cache if you would also like to solve the puzzle in the bonus cache, GC9YGNA Drawing a Blank.
Caution: Short bushwhack. Level ground, not too difficult.
Container: Small rectangular food storage container, camouflaged.
Hide: There were so many similar types of good places to hide the cache all in close proximity that I had trouble deciding which one to use. It's not terribly winter friendly, but doable if the snow is minimal.
Access: See the waypoints for suggested starting points. The DHMC Trailhead is the closest. The Trails map (premium feature) in the geocaching app shows most of the trails in this area.
Congratulations to cas25 on the FTF!
