La Commune fribourgeoise deMénières est limitrophe des communes de Cugy, Fétigny, Les Montets ainsi que celle de Valbroye dans le canton de Vaud. Elle compte 415 habitants, de nombreuses sociétés locales et une douzaine d'entreprises y sont enregistrées.

C'est une région propice à la promenade tant en forêt que sur les chemins agricoles.
