The word 'boonah' from the local aboriginal language , means 'broodwood tree' or 'acacia'.
Boonah has a population of approximately 2,500. There are new residential estates so over time, population will increase.
Very close to the cache location (approximately 50m) is a single picnic table on the side of the road, where you can park your car.
