Geocache Description:

Mae'r cache hwn wedi'i osod ger un o'r ychydig adeiladau rhestredig yn yr ardal leol - y bont ffordd dros yr Afon Crigyll yn Pandy Cymunod. Mae'n lle hyfryd i stopio ac edmygu'r olygfa, ac mae'n nodi'r man hanner ffordd mewn cylch gerdded boblogaidd o bentref cyfeillgar Bryngwran.

Rhoddir y disgrifiad rhestru fel a ganlyn: "Mae'n debyg bod pont wedi'i hadeiladu o rwbel o'r ddeunawfed ganrif yn cario ffordd fach dros Afon Crugyll neu Afon Caradog. Mae dau fwa wedi'u gwahanu'n eang ac o wahanol adeiladwaith. Mae'r bwa gorllewinol cynharach, yn uchel o'i gymharu â'i led ac wedi'i ledaenu, mae'n debyg pan ychwanegwyd y bwa rhannol  dwyrain yn y bedwaredd ganrif ar bymtheg; mae parapet carreg garw. " (RCAHMW, 1997 - Gweler coflein.gov.uk)

Parc a gafael yw hwn - mae yna fannau i dynnu i mewn gerllaw ond dim man parcio gwirioneddol felly symudwch ymlaen yn gyflym.  Mae'r cache wedi'i orchuddio i gydweddu â'i gefndir ac mae maint pot fitamin bach. Pob lwc!

This cache is placed near one of the few listed buildings in the local area - the road bridge over the River Crigyll at Pandy Cymunod.  It's a lovely spot to stop and admire the view, and marks the half way spot in a popular walking loop from the friendly village of Bryngwran.

The listing description is given as: "A probably eighteenth century rubble-built bridge carrying a minor road over the Afon Crugyll or River Caradog. There are two arches widely separated and of different construction. The earlier western arch, of crude construction, is high compared to its width and has been widened, probably when the the east segmental arch was added in the nineteenth century; there is a rough stone parapet." (RCAHMW, 1997 - See coflein.gov.uk)

This is a park and grab - there are spots to pull in nearby but no actual parking spot so please move on quickly.  The cache is camouflaged to blend in to it's background and is the size of a small vitamin pot.  Good luck!
