The Horse-Shoe Trail begins in Valley Forge National Park and continues westward to the Appalachian Trail. While, the HST was originally constructed for hikers and horseback riders, the trail now runs mostly through developments and private properties. The HST uses yellow blazes (and yellow painted horseshoes) to mark the trail.
This cache is located at an access point the the Horse-Shoe Trail. No hiking for this cache is neccesary! However, you can access the HST here and follow the trail east for about 0.5mi to get to Valley Forge National Park which offers many other trails.
