How do you start a campfire?

There are so many different methods involving many diverse tools. Some easier but not as efficient, some harder, but more reliable. Some are cheaper, others, more expensive. Some are more straightforward, yet cumbersome while others are light, but take more time. Some can be simple, while others complex. This cache will literally walk you through what my prefferred tools are and why. 

I have a fire pouch I bring with me camping. It has a wide range of methods to light the fire, aand fire starters. It keeps on growing and takes up a good amount of space since I could not even fit everything that is in there in a cereal bowl. Of course, when I go backpacking, that is way to large to bring. I can narrow my kit down to two simple things; Those I keep in my small belt fire pouch which is only the size of a wallet.

There are really only two components you need to start a fire. The first two stages represent those components, and you will need to figure out what I am talking about to solve the puzzle and move on to the next. The third and final stage holds the SWAG and logbook.

Stage 1: 

Where do you keep this fuel for the fire that's smaller than kindling?

It catches the spark and allows the flames to grow higher as if they're living.

I keep everything from wood shavings to dryer lint in it.

Stage 2: 

Now we need to light it.

Oh what to use. 6 choices there are, but only one will help you find it.

This is not cumbersome, but always trustworthy.

Unlike some, it is not limited and will be much harder to use up, surely.

Things to Awknowledge (The usual):

• Bring Bugspray
• Please replace everything exactly as found! And their camouflague as well.
• Be stealthy, especially when solving the puzzles.
• For S2, there is a nice bench nearby to solve the puzzle on. S1 . . . you'll find something.
• Bring your kids.
• While this is available 24/7, I would not recommend hunting for this at night because of the puzzles, and the private residences nearby.
