I wanted to choose a special location for my first geocache hide. Welcome to Madley Cemetery, where my Pappy is buried, along with many other family members. He passed away in 2017 after a 3 year battle with cancer, and I often like to come here to visit and remember him.
I share his love for the outdoors and wanted to theme this cache around one of my favorite wild animals! Cache is a disguised pill bottle hidden on the outskirts of the cemetery. Due to the location, night caching is not permitted, and please be respectful of the area. If you have a moment, take a seat on the bench in the back of the cemetery and enjoy the view of this beautiful, remote area!
