Ciudad Fallera es un barrio de la ciudad de Valencia, perteneciente al distrito de Benicalap. Está situado al noroeste de la ciudad y limita al norte con el municipio de Burjasot, al este con Pueblo Nuevo, al sur con Benicalap y al oeste con Beniferri y Sant Pau.
Es en este barrio donde se ubica la "Ciudad del artista fallero" y la sede del gremio de artesano de artistas falleros de Valencia. La idea de construir una "ciudad" para los artistas falleros ya la tuvo Regino Más, presidente del Gremio Artesano de Artistas Falleros de Valencia, en los años 40, y consta por primera vez en un acta del Gremio de 1953.
El proyecto era fruto de la necesidad de los artistas falleros por tener una zona donde agrupar todos los talleres, pero también tuvo en cuenta el crecimiento urbano de la ciudad. La primera piedra fue colocada el 17 de marzo de 1965, y en 1968 ya estaba construido el 50% de la obra. Ese mismo año, 30 fallas ya salieron de las naves. El 26 de febrero de 1993 se inauguró el Museo del Artista Fallero y la casa gremial.
En la actualidad, tan sólo quedan ocupadas por artistas falleros un reducido porcentaje de las naves, el resto se han reconvertido en otro tipo de negocios, algunas permanecen cerradas, e incluso se ha instalado un templo Sikh (sijismo). Durante los últimos años se ha tratado de revitalizar el barrio mediante acciones como la colocacción de nueva señalética y paneles informativos o un gran mural que busca representar la esencia de las fallas mediante el arte urbano, si bien todas estas acciones han generado escasa repercusión en cuanto a la afluencia de visitantes en el barrio.
En cualquier caso, es interesante dar una vuelta por el lugar, en ocasiones algunas naves tienen sus puertas abiertas y se puede observar por unos instantes el trabajo de los artistas falleros. La visita al museo también es recomendable.

Sólo contiene logbook y permite el intercambio de objetos de tamaño muy reducido. Recordad llevar máquina de escribir. La zona es tranquila y se puede buscar con calma, pero por favor como siempre dejadlo escondido de vuelta tal y como está. Es accesible en todo momento.

Ciudad Fallera is a neighborhood of Valencia, belonging to the Benicalap district. It is located to the northwest of the city and limits to the north with the municipality of Burjasot, to the east with Pueblo Nuevo, to the south with Benicalap and to the west with Beniferri and Sant Pau.
It is in this neighborhood where the "Fallas Artists City" (neighbourhood) is located, as well as the headquarters of the Valencian Fallas Artists Artisan Guild. The idea of building a "city" for Fallas artists was already thought by Regino Más, president of the Artisan Guild of Fallas Artists of Valencia, in the 1940s, and it is recorded for the first time in an act of the Guild of 1953.
The project was the result of the need of Fallas artists to have an area where all the workshops could be grouped, but it also took into account the urban growth of the city. The first stone was laid on March 17, 1965, and by 1968 50% of the area was already built. That same year, 30 fallas already were built here. On February 26, 1993 the Museum of the Fallero Artist and the guild house were inaugurated.
Nowadays, only a small percentage of the warehouses are occupied by Fallas artists, the rest have been converted into other types of businesses, some remain closed, and a Sikh temple (Sikhism) has even been installed. In recent years, attempts have been made to revitalize the neighborhood through actions such as the placement of new signalization and information panels or a large mural that seeks to represent the essence of the fallas through urban art, although all these actions have generated little impact in terms of getting more visitors in the neighborhood.
In any case, it is interesting to take a walk around the place, sometimes some warehouses have their doors open and the work of the Fallas artists can be observed for a while. The visit to the museum is also recommended.
About the cache:
After having already found a few caches, this is the first one that the Smurf Team hides (me, my wife and our son) ;-)
It only contains logbook and allows the exchange of very small objects. Remember to bring a typewriter. The area is quiet and can be searched calmly, but please as always hide it back as you found it.
