Grassy Hopper Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MzunguDeb: This was a rubber grasshopper zip-tied to a cluster of branches 4-8" above the level of the water. More and more it became difficult for GeoCachers to access it. When the lake froze for much of the winter, it was completely submerged for two months.

Geocache Description:

Grassy Hopper was looking for a new place to live and chose Prairie Queen. He had already met some of his new neighbors there and was very excited to move in. However, there was some confusion about his alloted space and he sadly had to look elsewhere. But he's even more excited after hearing about Lake Cunningham! Other new residents told him that the water and everything has been cleaned recently and is very fresh! He's also happy he can watch the kayakers here at Cunningham.

Note to cachers: After you have signed the logsheet, plese roll it up and carefully place it in the top of the bison container and THEN screw the bottom section into place. Please also be very careful to not drop anything in the lake.
