This year I learned about the opportunity to adopt a trail through the Issaquah Alps Trail Club, and I was lucky to get the opportunity to be a caretaker for the under appreciated and awesome High School Trail this summer. Aside from being super close to home, the High School trail is the best way to avoid the crowds (and most of the switchbacks) for a peaceful journey to Poo Poo Point.
One thing this trail *is* lacking is an abundance of caches, so of course I had to drop a cache to commemorate my stewardship. FTF gets a brand new IATC t-shirt. Have fun and leave no trace!
