These colourful boxes catch my eye every time I drive past, so I was delighted when I stopped at the ones in Leigh one day to have a look and discovered that they are free libraries. I was even more delighted when Anita agreed to let me put a geocache inside them. She then put me in touch with Chris who looks after the libraries in Thorpe Bay, so now there is a little series of caches 
The libraries are hand-painted boxes filled with books and you can find similar ones in all sorts of places. Anybody can take a book or donate a book or both. This library can be reached from the pavement and there is parking nearby.
As this cache keeps going missing, and is some distance for me to get to for maintenance, I have placed a couple of spare containers as backups. Please mention in your log which one you found. See the hint for more details.
